Which Bully Stick To Choose

To give you some perspective, my dog weighs 70 pounds and is fairly strong. I usually give him a 12 inch long, regular thickness bully stick. It takes him 60 to 90 minutes to work his way through it.

If I want to give him a 30 minute treat I’ll give him a 6 inch long one.

Common sense would tell you that a braided one would last the longest. It’s not the case with my dog. He eats through a 6 inch braided stick in about the same time that he eats through a 12 inch single.

Pizzles And Other Names For Bully Sticks

Sometime you might see bully sticks being advertised as beefy pizzles, pizzle sticks, beef sticks, deer stix, or just plain pizzles.

They are the same as bully sticks. Just be on the look out for well dried and chemical free bullies.
